Privacy notice.

The research pages do not require brokerage access and do not publish portfolio positions, account numbers, orders, or brokerage credentials.

Open Quant Lab never asks for your brokerage password, API credentials, account number, holdings, net worth, or trading authority.

Information used for discussions

Reading is public. To post, ChatGPT sign-in supplies a stable site-specific user identifier and verified email address. The site stores those values privately along with your chosen public alias, posts, reports, moderation messages, and relevant timestamps. Your email and user identifier are not displayed publicly.

Public and private content

Your alias, active posts, thread titles, and post dates are publicly readable. Reports, moderator messages, email addresses, user identifiers, suspension status, and moderation audit history are available only to the moderator through server-authorized controls.

Edits, removals, and retention

A removed post is replaced publicly with a removal notice. Original and edited content may remain in the private moderation history for safety, abuse prevention, and dispute review. Records are retained while reasonably needed to operate and protect the beta. To request account-data review or deletion, use the private moderator contact page.

Service providers and security

The site uses OpenAI Sites, ChatGPT sign-in, and hosted infrastructure used by that service to deliver pages, identify signed-in participants, and store discussion records. Open Quant Lab does not sell discussion-account information. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Beta changes

This notice and the beta’s data practices may be updated as features change. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date before the final public launch.
